Vimla is not just another mobile carrier, and we never will be. Ever since the launch of Vimla in 2014, we have found new ways to shape how a mobile carrier should feel like. By pushing boundaries we have managed to grow our customer base incredibly fast. And more importantly, we have gained a trust and loyalty from our customers that is completely unheard of in our industry. This year we were even awarded Carrier of the Year (which was based on customer satisfaction, by the way) for the second time in a row. Things are good, yes. But we’re far from satisfied.

In 2019, we are growing our marketing team to make sure we can do all the great stuff we have planned. This is a chance to join a team that’s already on a winning path, while also getting to shape the way we work and how things are done.

 

The role 
As our Digital Campaign Manager, you will spearhead our efforts in the world of paid media, web analytics and campaign planning. You will work closely with our media agency in a data-driven approach to optimize across all our channels (mainly SEM, Social, Programmatic Display and Online Video). You will also work closely with our affiliate partner, our student sales partner and our creative agency. In a nutshell, your job is to grow Vimla. Fun, right?

This is a broad role with many opportunities to develop and grow in the direction you want. While your education and experience is of course relevant, the most important key to succeed in this role will be your ability to learn new skills and quickly grasp new concepts.

 

Main responsibilities
As you develop and grow, so will the role. However, here’s a small portion of what we think you will spend your days doing when you join us: 

  • Coordinate our sales campaigns in digital channels and work analytically to optimize and find new opportunities to act on.
  • Work day-to-day with our agencies (media agency & creative agency) to optimize campaigns in SEM, Social and Programmatic.
  • Initiate, execute and follow up on sales campaigns with our Student partners.
  • Assist in creating branding and PR concepts together with our creative agency.
  • Use A/B-testing and landing pages on our web site to increase conversion rate.
  • Join in cross-functional projects together with other teams of Vimla to make sure we maximize the effect of our efforts.


Who we're looking for
You're probably already heading towards an exciting career within online marketing, but are still early in your tracks. We believe you already have acquired solid experience from digital marketing, perhaps by working at a media agency. You...

  • Are passionate about digital marketing with a good track record from previous projects.
  • Know the fundamentals and "ABC's" of the digital media landscape (Search ads, Facebook, Affiliate marketing etc).
  • Love numbers (Excel and Google Sheets are your friends) and understand how to use them in decision-making.
  • Know your way around Google Analytics and understand the importance of data quality. 
  • Are a “self-starter” with a proactive approach to problems and tasks. You're an expert at finding answers to various questions and things blocking your way.
  • Can speak English fluently, as we're an international team.
  • Have 2-4 years relevant work experience (agency experience is a big plus) and a relevant education.


It’s also a plus if you have...

  • Experience as a specialist buying and optimizing spend in Adwords, Facebook Ads Manager Affiliate marketing and sales campaigns.
  • Experience in managing projects and coordinating efforts between different teams and agencies to deliver on deadline.
  • Experience of Conversion Rate Optimization and site tracking using tools such as Hotjar, Mouseflow and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience in working with a product and tech team, perhaps during web projects or app development.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Tableau, Funnel and Bannerflow.
  • Speak Swedish. All our ads and content are in Swedish, so knowing the language will certainly help you along the way.
