Vimla is not just another mobile carrier and never will be. Ever since the launch of Vimla in 2014, we've changed what people expect from a phone operator. By pushing boundaries, we have managed to become the fastest growing mobile carrier in Sweden. And more importantly, we have earned the trust and loyalty of our customers to an extent normally unheard of in our industry. This year we were even awarded Carrier of the Year (for the 5th time!) based on our customer satisfaction. Things are good, but we're just getting started!

In 2022, we will grow our Tech team to reach our mission faster: smoother user experience, more product-offerings and features. Plus of course better and more aligned and efficient internal tools for a better working environment and better decisions.

The role

The QA Lead will be responsible for the quality of our digital service to customers and also internal users. You will work with and challenge our developers, IT operations team and external partners. 

Testing is an important part of quality assurance, but we take a more holistic view that also includes source code quality, ways of working and IT infrastructure. 

Main responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our test strategy
• Write test specifications
• Drive test automation, both code (API) and end-user (web and app)
• Coordinate and perform manual testing
• Approve major releases
• Improve underlying quality: code, architecture, IT infrastructure
• Ensure that our ways of working drives quality

We believe you already...

• Have some testing work experience
• Can read and understand code
• Experience with test design, writing test cases and functional test execution
• Experience with test automation and API testing
• Test data creation (SQL)
• Are fluent in English

It's also a plus if you...

• Have knowledge of our tech stack: React, Node, Typescript, Java, Docker, AWS
• Have experience in quality assurance
• Understand agile software development
• Have telecom experience
• Are fluent in Swedish
