Vimla is not just another mobile carrier, and we never will be. Ever since the launch of Vimla in 2014, we have found new ways to shape how a mobile carrier should feel like. By pushing boundaries, we have managed to both grow our customer base incredibly fast. And more importantly, we have gained a trust and loyalty from our customers that is completely unheard of in our industry. This year we were even awarded Carrier of the Year (which was based on customer satisfaction, by the way). Things are good, yes. But we’re far from satisfied.

In 2019, we will grow our marketing team to make sure we can do all the great stuff we have in store. As this is a completely new role, it means you both have a chance to join a team that’s already on a winning path while also getting to shape the way we do things.

The role
Vimla has been growing incredibly fast since our launch in 2014, with a customer base that now is large enough to brag about. Despite not having a structured approach for customer base communication, we have by far the highest NPS score in the market. We genuinely love our customers, and they love us back.

Now, it’s time to add intelligent communication in to the customer experience mix. In 2018 we reorganized our data to enable our data scientists to implement machine learning and predictive modelling. In early 2019, we will implement a Marketing Automation platform for cross-channel communication with our customers. 

In your role as our Marketing Automation Specialist, you will spearhead our efforts. Together with our Content Manager, Data Scientist and Head of Marketing, you will develop our CRM strategy and execute on it. 

Main responsibilities
You will be a superuser in our Marketing Automation tool and be responsible for the technical setup of all our customer base communication, mainly automated and triggered customer journeys. Here’s some of the stuff you will be doing on a day-to-day basis:

  • Ensure that communication flows, customer segments, triggers and logic are functioning properly.
  • Follow up on KPI’s and conversion rates (Open rate, Click-through rate, Sender score etc) and work proactively to continuously improve them.
  • Take ownership of your communication channels and constantly work with A/B testing and optimization to improve efficiency.
  • Work closely and proactively with all teams of Vimla to identify areas problems that can be solved with communication.
  • Act as a hub between our different teams and agencies and coordinate projects to make sure you get what you need and that your work benefits all parts of Vimla.

We believe you already...

  • Have experience of working with automated customer base communication and email marketing. You’re used to working with CRM systems and campaign tools such as CMS, CTS, campaign tools, web analytics and are good at quickly learning new systems.
  • Are technically competent with an eye for design, layouts and details. Knowledge in HTML and Adobe Photoshop will be needed.
  • Have experience in working with customer data in any form, as you in this role will work closely with data scientists and IT for customer base segmentation.
  • Love to use data and statistics in your decision-making. No gut feeling in the world beats a good A/B test.
  • Are a natural team player with a structured way of approaching tasks and projects.
  • Understand customer lifetime journeys and have a strong interest for the strategy behind a great customer experience.

It’s also a plus if you...

  • Can interpret and work with SQL queries for customer segment selection.
  • Have solid experience in tools such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Campaign, Hubspot, SAS, Pitney Bowes, Marketo, Oracle Eloqua or similar.
  • Can speak Swedish. You will not be expected to create content in Swedish and Swedish skills is not mandatory, but it’s always an advantage to understand and improve the content you work with.
